Heidi

Today is a very special day... it is my oldest daughters birthday. For all you mothers, do you remember the day each child was born. I remember bits and pieces but the first is one you don't forget to quickly.
I was going about the day as usual when i started having cramps. So i called my mother in law and she said i would have the baby that evening... you know what? She was right. That evening i had a little girl that was 8lbs. and 7oz. Wow. She was perfect... until i got her home and she cryed for 3 days straight. I called the doctor to find what i should do and he said "take two asprins and call me in the morning." lol Me? What about the baby. That was the first and it hasn't been the last time i asked what do i do with this child. lol
She is a beautiful young woman that i love soooo much. We have had our challenges but our good times out weight the bad. She is talented, loving, athletic, beautiful(inside and out) and is willing to serve God and follow him. I am a proud mother. That is ok, isn't it? Of course. God bless you Heidi, today and each day ahead of you.

War week

War week,
It has been awhile since i have bloged so here i go. This past week was a wonderful time of growing and planting. When we got there i didn't know what to expect. But as we sat under the teachings of R.T. kendall and Winkey Pratney i quickly understood that this wasn't another youth convention... the anointing was so strong on the teaching and the worship that you did not want to leave but we knew we came to give not just to recieve. So the afternoons where a great time to give of our time and labor. We really saw great results from that time. ON the last day of our services in the neighborhood we were a part of a block party to bring all the neighbors together for some fellowship time. I was drawn to a particular house because of the interesting display in the front yard...
So my curiosity got the best of me and i asended up the stairs to the porch where i meet a very interesting man. I asked what the sculpture was or what it represented and after talking a while we came up with that it was a monument of some sort... This man's name was richard. A 74 young man with a great gift of creativity. As we were talking his nephew was sitting there also and began to tell me about the inside of the house... He said i should take a look at it. It was amazing, on every wall and ceiling was pasted pictures and articles from newspapers and magazines and even some posters. A museam of history from the 1979 to the present time.

Well it was near our time to leave and as we where saying our good byes i suggested and stongly encouraged the two men to come to church that evening. Well they both came up with some lame excuse saying " well i have to go and get cleaned up and changed." After a time of beckoning them to come they finally said they would. I told them i would wait outside the church and wait for them.
So i waited and waited and was about to give up when Amber came out to keep me company. We were standing outside for about 5 to 10 minutes when a fire started down the street.

We could see a large black cloud coming out of a building and then some flames. i was about to leave again but Amber asked if we could stay and wait until the fire department came. I said " ok". We stayed for about 10 more min. and as the smoke changed in color and the flames died down from the water coming out of the trucks i told amber we had to get into the service and as we turned toward We could see a large black cloud coming out of a building and then some flames. i was about to leave again but Amber asked if we could stay and wait until the fire department came. I said " ok". We stayed for about 10 more min. and as the smoke changed in color and the flames died down from the water coming out of the trucks i told amber we had to get into the service and as we turned toward the doors there directly in front of us were richard and troy, his nephew. God's timing is perfect. They sat with us and stay the whole time and richard even told me that he had not been in a church since the 1960's. Wow. And as he left one of the pastors that lives right next to him was in the hall at the exact time he was leaving which allowed for Richard to connect with a church member. God's timing is perfect. Please pray for these to men. God has a great purpose and plan for a wonderful future for them... To God be the glory great things He has done!!!!
